How does an E-Foil Work?
The E-Foil is an incredible toy. It’s a hydrofoil board with a battery powered motor attached to the foil. The electric motor is controlled with a Bluetooth hand controller and you steer the board with your body weight. Once you pop up onto the hydrofoil, you can ride at up to 25mph. The motor is very quiet so the feeling you get flying over the water is sensational. The battery lasts about 2 hours depending on bodyweight and conditions.
How does a lesson work?
I’ll pick you and your crew up at the beach and we’ll head out into the harbor on the boat. The lesson starts with a thorough safety and instructional briefing - I’ll give you all of my tips and tricks for mastering the foil. Then you and your friends/family can take turns on the board while the rest of us cheer from the boat.
Is it safe? Can I do it?
Yes. And Yes. Next to tubing, E-foiling is about the easiest watersport out there. We’ll provide padded watersports lifejackets and a helmets, and with our tried and true 4-stage process, you’ll be flying in no time.
We’re also very excited to be able to offer the inflatable Blowfish attachment for beginner lessons. The blowfish adds a ton of stability and safety to board, and makes the sport even easier to learn.
